Ladies in the field approached us during a difficult time in 2020 amid the pandemic. the ambitious sisters had the vision to muscle themselves into a relative niche market by selling premium outdoor wear products from top-end brands such as Deerhunter, Brudgedale, Hoggs of Fife, Jack Pyke, Musto & Ruff, and Tumble to name a few directly to women who love to get ‘stuck in’ out in the field.
We started by developing a brand from their initial ideas, they had some vision of what they wanted but needed our expertise to bring their visions into life.
After discussions with the client and from our own research we settled on the idea of combining classic fonts with a modern font twist. We felt this would give Ladies in the Field an edge without straying away from what people already know about the industry.
We wanted to create a natural, organic feel for the company. So we chose an outdoor-inspired colour palette that can be used in both print and digital materials including social media posts, email marketing campaigns as well as their website.
Social Media Branding
Ladies in the Field required a website to sell their products. As WordPress connoisseurs, we immediately opted to utilise WooCommerce to handle the eCommerce aspect of their website so they can easily manage their webshop. On top of that, we decided to use the Elementor page-builder to design a visually stunning website within the relatively time-pressured window we had to ensure we could get the products to market as quickly as possible.
